I'm in no rush, not as if we are making a chart topper here.

I'm half way through making the drum track. It's sounding pretty fucking decent too. Can't do anymore today or tomorrow though. Today is beer day and tomorrow is Naplm Death and Beer day.
I don't know what the best idea is when making a song over the internet, so I was thinking of making the drum track, recording guitar along to it without the solos, then just sending it to whoever is putting other things on it. Problem is, it will have to be a WAV file so that stuff can be added to it, and that will probably be over 40mb.
Also, I'll record it in standard E.
This is gonna be cools.

Sounds good to me. Just upload the wav file to something like Megaupload or some other such fun thing, and then when we record our parts we can just bounce them down as wav files and send all the separate files back together in a .rar file or something.

If people can keep the tracks as separate as possible (drums on one wav file, guitars on another and each vocal on a different file) it would be a hell of a lot easier to mix.

The guitar track probably won't need alot of work. I'll multi track it like fuck and play it back with each track in different speakers. Then when it's converted to a WAV it will sound awesome already. The only thing with the guitar track that you may need to fiddle with is the volume of it.

Well it looks like you are not the only one doing the guitar now so you can fight it out as to what solo you want to do.

Yeah, I was just gonna do the rhythm guitar track and let other people play the solos. I can only play the blues scale

Fair enough. How about this then, Gorebastard does the rhythm and you fuckers who can do lead can all bagsy a solo. Johnny_Boy is doing the bass it appears.
As for singing, well anyone not doing any not doing anything else can bagsy a verse. Once we get the lyrics all sorted.
And once we bake the piece of shit, Craig can put the sugar on it.
