Re: Thrash food
Why? Bran Flakes very occasionally make up my cereal combo, but I would usually choose All Bran over them.

Bran?!
How can your rings take it? It must be like being reverse-raped.

Y'know that 'Kids Saying The Dumbest Things' show?
You could make an entire series out of Iain alone.

Re: Thrash food
Earlier today Faraz asked me if he should order pizza or curry. I suddenly thought, why not do both and put the curry on the pizza? I think that'd be delicious.
I actually tried the egg in soup dish from Darkplace once, and made a right bloody mess of it. It was nice though.
Right now I'm having lovely tomato soup (those Covent Garden carton things), with some Worcester sauce and tobasco. And grated cheese. Bloody fucking delicious.

I just made Chicken Liver Pate on toast with slices of raw mushroom, and it's seriously nice!

Re: Thrash food
The pizza place at the end of my road used to do a pizza called "the londoner".
basicly instead of a tomato sauced/puree spreaded base,it had beans instead(no cheese either)
the toppings were,3fried eggs, mushroom, tomato, bacon and sausage.
it was ambitious to say the least and even on the menu description it said "full english,on a pizza"
it never really caught on....
im guessing due to the fact it fell apart too easily.
you may aswell have cooked a fry up and replaced your plate with a pizza dough to get the same effect, messy!

I could see that working if it had a usual cheese and tomato pizza base instead of baked beans. I enjoy all those ingredients (apart from beans) on a pizza, so together it could be a marvel. I might try and make it one day.

I would enjoy this, I love food. I want to eat everything in the world, but not before putting grated cheese on it.

Re: Thrash food
or rather than a cook off,how bout an eating contest.ie;how many burgers OR eat a whole kebab and then see how many consecutive marsbars you can have for afters.
we may need some sick buckets/bins at the ready mind...
i saw a programme about jap/american eating contests, they take it well seroiusly and train and develop techniques(and stomachs)to be able to eat the most.
there was a restaurant featured in america where if you eat a 76oz steak you get your picture put on their wall of fame.
most people(cheats)conquered it in groups of 2-4.but there were some lone ranger eating machines who also managed it.literally only 1 or 2 though.

I already did that one, up there ^
Immediately what I thought of.
Obviously, my food is limited because I'm a vegan (please don't bitch...) but it does mean that I try hard to make my food interesting. Homemade pizzas are always good with a spicy tomato base and homemade pesto instead of cheese.
Portabellos are nature' burger and are juice, totally rocking.
I also like making my own chilli - spicy as fuck with cocoa, molasses (yes indeed) and a little JD. Good times. In fact, Mexican is the best food ever. Blackbean and sweet potato burritos -godly.
Peanut and Jam Sandwiches own. Also, tahini with either marmite or maple syrup for toast.
Food is the best.
