EPISODE III: REVENGE OF THE ROCKIN' BOYS

War! The Republic is crumbling under attacks by the ruthless Sith Lord, Simon Cowell. There are heroes on both sides. Evil is everywhere.

In a stunning move, the fiendish droid leader, Sharon Osbourne, has swept into the Republic capital and kidnapped Paul Stapleton, lead vocalist of the Rockin' Boys.

As the general public who don't really quite understand how important and brilliant rock 'n' roll is attempt to flee the besieged capital with their valuable hostage, the remaining members of the world's greatest rock band lead a desperate mission to rescue the vocalist....

If their mission succeeds, they will return to the Three Hammers on Friday 26th February 2010 to teach the world a valuable lesson: if you and take away our rock, you will not win, for the power and glory of rock 'n' roll soul is stronger than all.

In the words of a very wise man:
"In an age of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act. The Rockin' Boys is that truth."
Antonis Christodoulides, 2009

If you can't make this one, fear not, for we are embarking on...

THE ROCKIN' BOYS WORLD TOUR:
Sat 20th Feb: The Blackberry Jack, St Albans
Fri 26th Feb: The Three Hammers, Mill Hill
Sat 6th March: The Purple Turtle, Camden Town

That is all. Good day please.

Just those of you who didn't live in the Mill Hill area, it's a rare treat that we're playing at the Purple Turtle (it's a charity thing), so make sure you come on down! I'll have more details for that one in a couple of weeks hopefully.

The Rocking Boys don't understand enough English to realize that this is a girl's song, when they sing, "He's my mister / I love him / Mister Twister".

Hahaha. I don't know what on earth you mean, what song you are referring to, or if we even sing it. But what would your proposed solution be? Shall we change our name to 'The Rockin' Boys Who Sometime Sing Songs From A Woman's Point Of View But Don't Worry They're Not Gay''?

Actually, it does have a certain ring to it, I must say...

So here's an update from our press agent Bruce Dickinson:

"Good salutational greetingations to you, fine patrons of ROCK. As you are all well aware from the extensive promotional campaign our major record label and promotion company have launched over the last few months, the ROCKIN BOYS WORLD TOUR OF ROCK is about to begin!

Starting in St Albans on Saturday 20th Feb (that's this Saturday, 4 days from now), travelling right through Mill Hill (Three Hammers, 26th Feb), and ending all the way across the land in Camden town (Purple Turtle, 6th March), this is one tour you just can't even believe, because it's not really a tour, but three gigs that I'm jokingly referring to as a tour because I'm trying to be totally hilarious. So, please, humour me, and come and watch us play, and make yourselves look like you're having a good time. You will be rewarded, with ROCK. And POWER.

PS. We will be playing YOU SHOOK ME ALL NIGHT LONG by AC/DC. That, boys and girls, is a fact. A fact of ROCK."

Thanks for that Bruce. Just so you are aware, boys and girls, we are actually HEADLINING the Purple Turtle on March 6th. God knows why. But please come and enjoy this most brilliant of jokes.
