ARGH, Rik you have done that before!! If you are going to write out a massive review, DO NOT just hit submit - type it in a seperate program like Word then paste it in. Even so, you should have been able to hit Back and your message would still have been there.

Embed, share, email and spread the word all that shit. Highlights are Zurab's stage dive and all the wicked chuggy bits of every video.

Enjoy :) I can't stop watching the BBB ones.

Wow, brilliant quality vids Dazza! That camera was a good investment.

Also, I've never heard those Mutant songs so fast!!

Glad it all went well man again wanted to go to this one but was finance wouldnt allow it. heard there were some run ins with those SA wankers again. same ones that picked a fight with me n Rik at apocolyptic rage but came a bit unstuck when they realised that we werent havin it and a few of were there willing to stick up for eachother. theres usually about 7 of em but the 2 fairly short ones with the long black hair are the main instigateors of trouble at gigs so look out for em, they usually attack from behind, heard Coke from Virus had a dust up with em at a gig of his for the same reason as well.

Heard you stood your ground Steve, Reeeeeespec! =D>

those guys should be watched and kicked out of gigs at the first sign of their bulshit bullying, gigs are meant to be fun!

Rik is like the most placid bloke i know and for him to get the hump with em says it all really

I'm hoping Rik's review sheds a bit more light on this matter, cause I really don't remember a lot. I just remember they were being dicks and I got pissed off, which is very unlike me! We should bully them.

Faraz is right its not all of them, out of the 7 of them it was 3 in paticular that me n Rik had a scuffle with, they took me the floor at one stage and started all sticking the boot in, and then i had an incident with one of them after that as well but it was broken up by one of their cooler mates who was a pretty decent bloke all in all. its usually the same 2 startin shit but there are 3 really that kick off.

Ok....ill try again :D

Mutant played a blinder as always and stirred up quite a pit and some dives considering they were on 2nd.it was only a tad less crazy than the WWRage gig which shows Mutant can pull an amazing crowd(even when not headlining, and even on a sunday).
the new intro was cool as far as the cyborg/robotic voice goes but on the whole i prefer the alert/warning/alarm style intro personally.
obviously Mutant just toured so it was cool to find out the set list had been swicthed around a bit.although i do think Psycho surgery and THUMP are better played in the 2nd half rather than near the beginning.of course i love all the songs anyway but i agree with John,Laserdrome would be cool to open with(like on the toxic tapes footage at wakefield).
this is just me nitpicking constructively(if that makes sense).
but yeah,amazing set by Mutant.
on a side note:there was a lot of females in the Mutant pit, like a whole gang of punk chicks!cool(maybe some potential groupies for the Mutant lads ay? )

during Cauldron i was at the chicken shop with Zurab/Spencer.

BBB are a wicked live band.sooo much energy and presence.ive got the old e.p(7 songs) and ive always liked them almost a year before they were signed to earache.i didnt get the earache album coz it only had 1 or 2 more songs than the e.p.also on the myspace the vocal and drums had been slightly altered for the earache version.(a tad less raw sounding in my opinion/a little too clean)
anyway, this doesnt come into it when theyre playing live.they rocked the turtle really well and have such catchy, brutal thrash tunes.

now the other stuff:
met up with Stevedot2 then Necrotism and her friend about 530 ish, then Zurab joined us then Spencer.before heading to the gig (from the pub over the road)us lads went to the chicken shop.(as me and Steve were hungry)

on the way we bumped into Dave from Virus and his friends,as i was chatting to them,Dave stopped mid conversation and pointed across the road to a lad he couldnt stand(as he had had a previous fight with him).what a coincidence it was the S.American looking dude who caused trouble(and got thrown out)at apocalyptic rage.aswell as being a tosser at underworld the other month.
anyway it was obvious he was headed to the turtle so we all warned everyone we knew to watch out in the pit and that was that.

it was cool to see so many forumers aswell as others from the scene.it was a nice surprise for me just realising how many people were at this gig.

anyway,Steve, maybe this will ring some bells :D
the aforementioned troublemaker was nowhere to be seen in the pit during Mutant which was nice in a way coz the bunch of girls and the younger kids could all enjoy it to the full.
but yeah, during BBB it took about 2songs to get the twat literally in full swing.
this coward walks round the edge of the pit and shoves people into it unsuspectingly from behind.if anyone so much as looks at him(or tries to jestfully push him back)after what hes just done,he proceeds to pull a stupid angry expression and most times grabs people by the collar and tries to plough them through the spectators.
anyway i described his behaviour at apocrage.
he had an accomplice who liked to run from 1 side of the pit to the other while swinging his fists.but this lad wasnt too much bother in comparison.
the other mate was standing by the bar all eve with some girl and leaving him to it(he is the taller one who is Safe as)

after assessing the twattery i thought it was time to warn a few people about him(ie:Dave/Zurab etc).
anyway, after hearing from someone that he had already grabbed Stevedot by the throat a few mins ago,i thought it was about time he calmed down.
anyway,i found Steve in the pit and we linked up to enjoy a headbang then within seconds the twat came wading over and unecessarily barged us both 1 at a time.
since Steve was shoved first he went to shove him back before i got my chance.the prat then proceeded to get nasty and grab Steve in a headlock and they ended up on the floor.thankfully some other pitters who didnt know either party tried to pry them apart but the lad wouldnt let go and was tryna fight/choke Steve by now.i had his arm and was digging my fingers in /clawing it,to try and release him from steve/and to hurt him.i was so close to just punching him in the face but then id look like the bad guy.
i think Aladdin even said something over the mic about the pitters in the pile needing to calm down or something, which is a shame coz 1 idiot disrupting a crowd is bad enough, without the band having to be distracted by one persons stupidness.

anyway after he was finally pulled away he continued to fight whoever was nearest/still holding him.i shoved him into the stage and shouted/swore at him to calm the fuck down and stop being violent towards people.he said something back so i shoved him face to face and shouted some more and just like all cowards he didnt follow it up.he just did his crappy angry face and just
buggered off briefly to his little corner for a bit.
this was a shame as far as the vibe goes and the fact people who dont know me are probably thinking "theres 2 nobs in the pit who cant take it as a bit of fun etc."
in a way it was good as he did slightly less moshing and swithced to doing diving instead(youll see him on Dazzas BBB,Necropsy vid at 1min 20sec)
anyway,10 mins later Dave from Virus went and charged the pair of them and everone was on the floor.it was pretty funny actually.

im not writing this with a "getting in incidents for the sake of it" mindset.
im trying to make people aware of the behaviour i cant stand and i think judging by the thread already, and from all the other people in the pit who couldnt stand him, that most minds are made up on this particular person.

Faraz is correct, the others are pretty much OK.(i even had a brief chat with 1 or 2 of them outside at gigs)

weve all had that one mate who gets too drunk/shows off etc .half the time they leave him to it.he creates his own trouble.

anyway,i think if Stevedot,Myself,Coke and Carl have all been in 1 or 2 situations with this lad(on seperate occasions)then it sums up who is causing the trouble.

but yeah,GREAT GIG overall. and im glad Steve was relatively unscathed(apart from a minor bump/graise on the cheek)

also Dazza, your camvcorder is class and the vids are quality!

ha,i only had the one beer in that pub we went in at the beginning(as i was working monday  )
yeah, from what everyone says it tends to be the same 1 or2 whilst the rest are just out having a good time.
and they dont need to be classed as "guilty by association" as they do thier own thing and tend to act more grown up than their silly billy mates.

im sure he will realise it sooner or later through a kicking by messing with the wrong person, whether it be bouncers or older, bigger nutters in a pit.

he only goes for smaller/younger people in the pit half the time.hes just a school bully/coward.

LOL it was me, DAVE. Coke is old and bald.

But likewise to what Carl said earlier, Coke has had trouble with some of them in the passed. However it is only a minority of them - some are fine :D

It's a shame these guys ruin things. It all calmed down once a big arse bouncer stood at the right of the stage. I remember Aladdin asking people not to kill one another, we're all friends etc. It's a shame that good citizens like Rik need to get in to these situations so chicken shits like me can be safe!

Epic gig report Rik... I'm glad you can remember something. All I can remember is post gig they played Peace Sells four times back to back... and then went into Anthrax "Among the Living" track for track.... brilliant.

PS if the HD videos stutter a bit slide the time bar to the left and let it start again. They should all be as smooth as silk. The HD stuff is in beta at the moment so it sometimes plays a little shit.
