They have an album called Power Metal. Yes, it's completely different to what they became and also to what power metal became, but still, it's hilarious and great fun. And Pantera are just great metal. Not every album is brilliant, but none of their albums are actually bad, and most of them are in fact brilliant bar one or two. But even if you didn't like the music he made, which is fair enough as we all have different opinions on different kinds of music, surely you recognise the skill that Dimebag had, at least?

In any case Cowboys From Hell, Vulgar Display of Power and The Great Southern Trendkill are fucking ball smashing albums of power.

I think Dimebag is one of the most overrated guitar players ever. Every riff he plays is so fucking boring and repeatative. That typical riff style you play when you first ever drop your guitar to D. Eugh. Massive load of wank.
