Too much stuff, too much debt...
Guitars - Blackmachine B2 (with EMG 85/60 combo), Jackson Kelly XL, BC Rich Platinum Warlock, ESP LTD v-250.
Amps - Marshall 6100LM with 1960A 4x12, Laney GH50L with some old Laney 4x12 (EXCELLENT cab and cheap as feck!).
FX - Boss GT-6, Boss SD-1, Boss MT-2 (rarely gets wheeled out).
That's it for now. Looking at getting a new amp though (something German, maybe an ENGL or a Diezel), likely to spunk some big bucks in the next year or two. Shit.

Not loaded sadly, I have the Lloyds graduate loan service to thank for my acquisitions... I've put myself in debt until my early thirties for some of this stuff!
Re: ENGL and Diezel, I've experienced the opposite - nowt but praise for the Diezel stuff but occasional lukewarm responses to ENGL amps. Never played an ENGL myself but they seem to have an amazing range of amps from relatively cheap, simple jobs to top-of-the-line monsters. Both makes seem to be on the money though.
The Diezel amps are absurdly good but also absurdly expensive. Having said that, the silghtly less fancy Einsteins are only (?!?) £1200 or thereabouts - OK, it's a fair amount of wedge but if you consider that overhyped Mesa Boogie Triple/Dual Recs go for at least that over here, it starts to look a little more attractive. I had a go on one at the London Guitar Show and they seriously sing. More debt looms I fear.

If your looking at an Einstein check this thread on the Andy Sneap forum:

Theres some mixed reactions there, and some clips.

He-he, they love their 5150s on the Sneap forum. I think they're OK, nothing mind-blowing - they do one thing and they do it well, granted. The Einstein is very, very differently voiced so I can see if you're into the 5150 sound, you might not dig them. Much 'clearer' sounding, more rounded and less dirty with a very 'musical' mid range. Great for leads. It doesn't really have extreme gain available but then I've been rolling back the gain more and more these days anyway.
Oh well, it's all pie-in-the sky right now as I'm skint. Bah.

I kinda realised there was no point after my post really, I only need myself a decent amp and my V-amp's got 32+ cab. setups anyway. Besides, a webcam mic and practice amp do me fine for recording Black Metal

Hey, those MT-2 pedals can be OK. Mine served me well for a while, you just have to be careful to cut out the treble, otherwise it will indeed sound like a hissy pile of shite. They have quite comprehensive (and effective) EQ functions for a pedal. Cut the treble on the EQ by about 50%, boost some low mid frequencies and leave the bass flat - it'll never replicate the sound of some decent valves at full roar, but it'll give you a workable sound nonetheless.

My JCM 2000 DSL-50 should be ordered in by the weekend so as of then my set up will be that with a BOSS ME-50 through the clean channel.
(Yeees I know putting pedals on things is gay but Heretic needs at least 10 times moreobnoxious distortion than everybody else)

Are you sure the DSL doesn't have enough gain for your needs? I've used them extensively and they should have more than enough on tap to thrash like feck. I'd suggest putting the ME-50 in the DSL's loop and use it for delays, reverbs, choruses e.t.c. (which can sound like arse when shoved in front of the amp) and use the amp's distortion channels when thrashing. I used to use a DSL extensively in rehearsal and run a GT-6 in the loop (not entirely dissimilar to the ME-50). Sounded awesome. But hey, play around with it, what sounded good to me might sound shite to you.
