Oops, to be honest i never liked Edge of Sanity. Just taste though, they were good at what they did, or Dan was at least.

If we're talking death metal, for me you can't beat Obituary or Grave.
I killed Reanimator.

I got the Eternal Fall EP recently and it's a thoroughly enjoyable slice of old school DM.

Fuckinell!
Yeah they ruled!

I've got a couple of their albums lying around, they sound a lot like Death, vocally and musically, which can't be a bad thing!

Check out their album, "Cursed".

Their next one ("Odium") wasn't as good as "Cursed" - and don't listen to anything after that.

Indeed.
After Holy Crap! Lions! reminded me of them, I dug 3 of their albums. The only one I didn't listen to was Odium because it's... not that good.

From what i've heard they sound like someone took the Obituary sound but made the vocals better and the riffs interesting. Oh and plenty of atmosphere, which is lacking from most Thrash & Death bands.
