I don't usually use americanisms, just my use of english is really fucked up tbh, I never really cared that much for the what say good heavens kind of English language.. I mean its a fuckin bastard language in the first place, why not bastardise it more by changing words and adding new ones if you want? and dude is totally a cool word man duuuuude maaaaan

The only thing that annoys me with people that are stringently pro marijuana is that they're more than willing to listen to outside sources about effects - but only if it coincides with what they want to hear. They rubbish any study that find links to bad things coming from smoking it, but they'll take without a single question the results of any study that gives favour to the habit.

I see what you mean, I don't really know anyone too much like that though... In general I don't rubbish studies that are anti-weed (unless they actually are a load of toss), I just tend to disagree, since I smoke it and don't get any of the problems caused... they often use the most extreme cases to make their point aswell! To be fair, I couldn't care less about pro or anti surveys/results, since evidence either way will not affect my enjoyment of it, or affect my beliefs when it comes to 'telling' people to smoke or not!

Another point I was going to raise in my previous previous previous post was this:

Did anyone see that program about those mummies they found in a Chinese desert, there was a 'shaman' or whatever the fuck they called him, and in his tomb thing they found loads of pots with different herbs in, and one of em contained Marijuana (which they were quite annoyed about saying on tv!) They reckon he smoked it with a mixture of other plants so as he could trip out!!!

Also, I just thought of it this way - why is a HERB illegal??? I bet smoking Oregano fucks you up more than weed!!!!

Aaaaaand (shit sorry everyone!!! ), as Bengover mentioned earlier in the thread - A lot of the people who get adverse mental health issues to do with smoking it smoke too much BAD green! I mean, if there's a dodgy dealer with a few ounces of green, he won't mind sprinkling it with any other drugs to make it stronger, cos then he can sell it for more!!! And most people who get it from 'smoking green' don't just smoke loads of weed they're likely to have taken trips and pills aswell, which can definately fuck you up!!! (I know this girl who took too much acid once and stayed fucked up for like 4 months :S )

True, English is basically the bastard child of Danish grammar and French vocabularly, but it's the best language in the world. Hence why everyone speaks it. If you speak sound English you're set for life. What's more, you can tell other people that their English is shit and generally feel good about yourself.

The reason that we shouldn't use Americanisms in particular is that Americans are fucking scum. If you emulate Americans in one way, there's little to stop you from emulating them from others. One day you'll be saying 'dude' or 'rad', the next you'll be laughing at Friends and trying to secede from the greatest empire in the history of great empires and become a generally ungrateful prick.

A lot of people think that modern languages originated somewhere around India. It's called something like 'Indo-European'. It's been a while since we studied it at school.
