Haha yeah i saw the Omens first ever show! It was funny, but entertaining definitely, the singer was spitting blood and holding skulls and wearing a bullet proof vest and stuff.

OK, first off a massive apology to everyone who stuck it out to watch us, we are so sorry but we had no option but to bail as we were fucked around too hard.

I rang the promoter earlier on in the day to tell him we were going to be late as my brother (our drummer) is ill and couldn't hang out in a pub for 10 hours (yes, really) so no problems there.
When we turned up the whole day had been delayed by an hour or so due to other bands being late/playing too long, whatever. When the mighty Crowning Glory were supposed to have been going on stage a band who should have been playing earlier on in the day went on instead and delayed the whole thing even further.

My dad who drove us there was waiting for a crazy amount of time to pick us up, way past the time when we should have finished playing. As I type this message we STILL would not have even finished playing, that is fucking BULLSHIT considering we were supposed to go on at 11:00. Fuck that. Apparently the promoter told the crowd at the end of the night that it had been "Jokes". He didn't even apologize on our behalf like I asked him too. I'm so fucking pissed off.

I can't believe my band have had to pull out of a gig, I never thought we would have to do that and I'm really sorry to anyone that stayed to see us, seriously, sorry.

Anyway...

I caught Dr. Death's Tankard cover and it sounded totally ripping, seriously those guys just get better. Damnas were totally unstoppable and I was completely blown away, I REALLY dig that band, the new boys (for me) were fucking top notch, Jon was excellent and Donny was a total master, James was sick! I saw Savage Messiah and was well impressed with Dave Silver, very talented guy. I'm sad I missed CG but next time my friends!
