Apparently Sabbat have announced tour dates for August on their myspazz:
16/8/10 Bristol - Bierkeller
17/8/10 Leeds - The Well
18/8/10 Glasgow - Ivory Blacks
20/8/10 Nottingham - Rock City
21/8/10 London - Underworld
22/8/10 Wrexham - Central Station
That will be the Arch Enemy tickets getting returned then...

My undying love for anything Carcass seals my attendance at Arch Enemy though.

Excellent, i'd quite like to see them again.
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

Re: Sabbat - Mad Gods and Englishmen tour
seems like a very ambitious amount of dates. considering how badly onslaughts last headliner went.great to see them still giging tho, thought they were winding it down. support is buy on city.

Yup, Arch Enemy tickets going right back now. Seeing them with a proper set in the Underworld will be so much better than supporting that bunch of Swedish wankers.

Bulletin from Sabbat's Myspace:
Oo-er. It's all gone a bit "handbags at ten paces", hasn't it?
Sabbat off November Arch Enemy dates
Just received the following email, "A.E feel your August dates will pull heads away from the November tour dates, and feel it is best that you do not do the November tour."
So we look forward to seeing everyone who hasn't seen Sabbat in a while in August where we can do a headline set anyway. Apologies to anyone with tickets to see us on the Arch Enemy shows, I'm sure they'll be great... hopefully no volcanos in November.
Anyone seeking a refund should contact point of purchase.

Haha, after that I would have been refunding my tickets even without the Sabbat tour. This is what happens when you let women be in bands...

I thought Onslaught's Glasgow date was pretty packed and, a fantastic crowd to boot. Is this the one last August you're talking about after Testament? Were the other ones poorly attended, I take it?
And the support is utter balls. Does reek of buy ons doesn't it? I hate it when Thrash Bands resort to awful buy on support when there's hundreds of top drawer thrash bands in the UK at the moment! Look at Overkill! They had that awful Keltic Jihad shite when they could've had H.O.D. or Gama Bomb, or even fucking Amok or anyone at all! Ditto Anthrax. Trigger The Bloodshed and Suicide Silence? Surely Nebukadnezza or Seregon would've jumped at the chance?

Re: Sabbat - Mad Gods and Englishmen tour
wicked,i just ordered a ticket the minute is saw the word sabbat.
i was just thinking the other day that i really wanna see them again.last saw em in 2008 with gbomb and aching cock.
i recently ordered their only available filmed live gig (as far as im aware) on vhs in berlin 1989.
they are so awesome and were very ahead of their time and still remain superb and up there with(and in my opinion better) than half the modern bands or 'bigger' bands.
ive been reading the lyrics from both albums as they were very in depth and of a higher intellect than the average songwriter.
also been listening to them a lot lately on the bus and then next thing i know, they are playing a gig soon.
it must be fate even though im not religious maybe i'll become a pagan.
anyway,cant wait.2 massive gigs.over next 2 months(other being the freshney/gama/sepultura gig)
i hope theres decent support at the underworld show.
and who the fuck are Arch enemy anyway? maybe im missing something but in a way im glad Sabbat are now headlining and at the underworld.that will be amazing.
