Chat with Hetfield and Arslick about 25 years since they made the album.

Re: 25 Years of Kill 'em All [video]
I got the No Life 'till Leather demo many years after KEA and what suprised me is that KEA still has the same energy. I think that's hard to do (or seems to be). Maybe because they didn't know shit, they just walked in to the studio and recorded the album and walked out. No dicking about with ProTools for hours on end trying to make it perfect.
I can't believe that after 25 years I still listen to it every fucking week.

I often give it a listen, it is, as was said, just unsheened, gloriously untamed genius, bloody brilliant.

I liked that video, that was nice. Always nice to see a band talking about their early days, kind of gives you a bit of hope...

Listening to KEA for the first time in a year or so. Used to be the album i'd listen to most on the walk to college. Might give Beneath the Remains a listen too later. I'll need to brush the cobwebs off my denim at this rate

lol, I listened to KEA, RTL and MoP back to back after watching the video. It's probably the best progression of thrash metal EVER. Pure fucking class, every song, every album cover. bosh.
