That's a song I usually wouldn't care for, but because of The Sopranos I now love it and go mental every time I'm out and I hear it, and I, erm, pretend to look up at doors... and eat onion rings... and stuff...

I've still never got my head around that ending, the youtube remakes are good fun.

I got into journey (and HOD formed) from the simpsons episode of Mr Burns's son.

Blates. Although I prefer to add a bit of funk into the mix.

And early synth cheers.
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

Thank the Police coming straight from the underground...

Seasick Steve hasn't been off my stereo since christmas and I'm listening to Jethro Tull now so yeah, blues and folk FTW.

For mad as batshit folk rock, I highly recommend circulus on rise above.

NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN-NAMEDROPPER!

This isn't news. Barney has always been vocal about his love of prog rock even as far back as the days he was writing for Kerrang back in the early 90's. Old news, no story!!!

I mean, ‘Sultans Of Swing’? That is just one of the most hideous, toe curlingly bad songs. At least Journey were heavy, I mean, not ultra-heavy, but at least they were heavy and they had that real emotional sort of heaviness, but ‘Sultans...’ is just soporific, fucking piss. It is such a non-event to hear one of their albums. It’s hard to put it into words... it’s just, well, dire. I can never handle Eric Clapton either, his solo work is so dull to me, that sort of singer songwriter kind of twee shite. I can’t listen to it. It’s the same with the Beatles – I actually really like some of the Beatles stuff, I think a lot of people do – but when you take some of the solo output, like Paul McCartney’s, it’s just atrocious.

He's having a laugh saying that!

Circulus is good stuff, it does seems that their lead singer lives in the 16th century
