HOW DID THRASH METAL SPREAD SO QUICKLY UPON INCEPTION? The answer is tape trading!

I was so glad to find the article in Terrorizer about this website and about the resurgence of thrash bands in the UK. I am hping to find some dependable traders to trade cd'r's with. I have a huge list including metal from all genres, and if you email me with yours I'll send you mine. Dependalble, trustworthy traders only.

Trading is supposed to be about promoting and supporting the bands!!! Not doing them out of sales and royalties!!!! Tape trading was for copies of live shows, demos and rehearsals, not actual finished product :wall:

Yeah, if hes trading copied official cds its not really on, demos are alright though. Campus comment was a tad unnecessary though tbh.

I understand your point, but I've been dubbed loads of albums by mates and trading contacts which I've later gone out and bought, and equally a fair few shite ones which I was glad I had the chance to hear first. Nothing wrong with dubs of out of print material, limited 7"s, etc. either surely?

YES, THE LIST OF TITLES I POSTED ARE (MOSTLY) CRAP, THAT'S THE WHOLE POINT IN WANTING TO TRADE THEM DUMBASS (IMMORTALICIDE). So let me get this right! You want to trade dubs, therefore you wouldn't be getting rid of them, just copying them?? So why would you want to trade them?? Surely you dont expect someone to give you a copy of something good for a copy of something you yourself have said is crap :shock:

If you go to the front page of this website, there is a list of bands and links to their myspace sites / websites. Im glad you dont want to trade anyhow cuz you have nothing i would want :lol:

Pretty hostile response to someone who is new to the board, from a different country, and only found out about this through a magazine article but still made an effort to check it out and investigate the bands.

His methods may not be very agreeable, but it's hardly a great welcome is it!
