Would appear it is a wee side street off of Chambers Street. Don't think it is visible from Chambers Street itself.

In answer to a few of the posts. To get to GRV you go down some steps about half way up Chambers Street. This takes you to Guthrie Street, turn right for just a few yards and eventually you'll come to an alley which has more steps leading down to the venue. It's an excellent venue for music - the bar is separate to the music room, so there are no tables when you're watching the bands (better atmosphere that way), though you can sit down the sides if you want. I've been to 2 shows organised by GBH Metal, a Dimebag Tribute and a Death Metal Night headlined by Ingested. Both were really well organised, so this should be a superb day.

For the Glasgow guy above or anyone else who needs a train/bus I'm pretty sure it's an 11 o'clock curfew as it was last time, so you should be able to get last train/bus.

To be honest I don't really know these bands, but I'm really looking forward to the gig.
