Had to turn it off cos Daves constant talking bored me. Vocals are annoying, i like him to sing propperly again.

What's the point in Megadeth, Metallica etc continuing? If I want to listen to Megadeth I put on one of their first four, likewise with Metallica. Mustaine hasn't contributed anything worthwhile to metal in almost 20 years now.

Yes, exactly. Its like they are trying to recapture the old magic or show people how great they are because they have had yes men telling them how genius they are for so many years.

Good point.

Sometimes massively successful musicians should perhaps take a leaf out TV makers books (The Office, Fawlty Towers etc blah blah) and stop stuff before it gets old and saturated...

CTE was Mustaine's sub-par attempt at a Black Album. The dip in quality between RIP and CTE is ridiculous.

It wasn't as good as his previous four efforts, and it wans't thrash. Thats true, but that doesn't mean its a bad album whatsoever, if anything he hasn't matched it since.

I know its expected of a lot of Megadeth fans to say that but its pretty much fact.

Does anyone else like Youthanasia? I quite enjoy that one!

I love it. The hidden treasures that came with it at the time is probably my favourite album. I got it the morning of the tour, never played it, went to the gig, got home, decided to open it for a play then found a free backstage pass inside. Fail.

I love Youthanasia, probably one of Mustaine's most overlooked works.

Gutted Feemo, that must've fucking sucked.

I kind of thought it was for the best, what with Mustaine being a bit 'difficult' n'all that. Would have loved to have met Dave Ellefson though, I don't know the names of anyone since him and marty left.

Nor can I spell the names ^
