There's some brilliant stuff on there, but then some absolute shite as well. I mean, for the whole weekend there are about 2 bands worth seeing on the second stage, and 4 that I'd bother with on the main one. Not quite worth 175 quid, I think I'll save up for the coach to FTA instead.

it's Download, always gonna be way too many shite bands!!! The main thing that pisses me off is that most of the really shit bands played last year/year before... why not get some better bands that have never played the festival before!

For me I think of the cost of seeing the bands individually.. ie- how much I'd have to spend seperately on tickets, travel, somewhere to stay, food, drink, etc.. that's a lot of money when considering AC/DC, Aerosmith, RATM, Megadeth, Motorhead!!! So for me it's well worth the money... and also don't forget 5 days of redneck partying in a field!!!

I'd only go and see Megadeth and Motorhead individually though, if you like the other big ones then you'd probably be saving a shitload but for me it'd be like paying 80 odd quid to party in a field.

Bought my day ticket last week.
It's all about AC/DC. Couldn't give a fuck who else is playing.

Well, of course it helps if there are bands there I like (although it is only them so far though). I just meant if the rest of the day tunred out shit then it wouldn't bother me.

I have my ticket. A big gang of us are going up. Talkin' 'bout CINDERELLA! YEAH. Some of thier songs are very AC/DC...yet they looked like poodles back in the day.

Got me ticket.

AC/DC at Donington is just CORRECT.

Motorhead, Megadeth and Deftones fer me too. Bit of Airbourne to help the beer down. Fuck it.

I'm gonna go. And I'm going to get drunk and dance around like a twat for 4 days with my mega-ghettoblaster badness. And drugs.

Chris, You can't come to Hellfest because you are a greasy cunt.
