Jackson King v help.

Postby Tornado of souls on Fri May 01, 2009 11:39 pm

Hey there , this might seem a little amateaur , but i recently bought a jackson king on ebay. the seller didnt know what model it was , and i can't seem to find anyhting about it. So i thought maybe someone on here could probably help me out.. It's like the kvx10 , but without the floyd rose , having the Seymour designed pcikups , and the Mother of Pearl Shark Fin Position Inlays like off of the more pricier jacksons.
Can anyone help identify it , and tell me what it's price range is.
Thanks

I've got a KVX10. They didn't come with Floyd Roses until a couple of years ago. The KVX10 is now basically the same as the old KV3... I think. I need to sell mine too but I can't be ringed.

You might be looking closer to £150 second hand, KVX10 Jacksons are almost £200 new anyway :/

And £200 new is a rip off. I suppose if you want a Jackson V and don't have the Queens to spend on one, the KVX10 is a good guitar. You can get better guitars for less money, though.

the the "3" series is a gopod bit better than the "x10" series. it's not quite professional grade like the "3" series but it'll do you for club gigs.

The problem is theres no King V at the £400 area, like there is with the Rhoads models. Theres a Rhoads for the JS, X10, Pro, and the £800+ ranges, so why not the King V??

The KVX10 isn't even a proper size of King V either. Both fins on the King V are meant to be as long as the upper fin on the Rhoads but the KVX10 is fucking tiny.

That would be a double Rhoads, which is only a custom order now.
A King V has shorter fins than the upper fin on a Rhoads.
