Download 2009

I'm hoping to do what I did last year. Pay for a day ticket then get given a wristband for the other two by a mate of mine who works on one of the stalls.

Nope, I've never seen a Download lineup that makes me want to go there more than a good festival

In fact, I've never seena decent Download lineup

well then, you do fail slightly in saying that... 5 days and bands are only on 3... and not even all day on those days.... you wouldn't believe how insane and fun the time not watching bands is! and the good bands always are amazing!!!

Yeah, I could safely say if someone paid me to go to a metal festival that Whitesnake and ZZ Top were playing at, I would go.

I've been to Download two or three times, and they may not get the line up right, but they know how to create an atmosphere. It just feels great there, you could go there for a holiday and not watch one band. It must be the vibe that it's actually Donington.

Oh, I would now. But back when I enjoyed festivals it was top of the list. You'd hardly want to hear my view of nowadays, so I didn't bother...

I've had many fun times between bands at Wacken and Bloodstock, why do I need to go to Download for the same thing?

and it's just something different... i dont even have a passport and nobody i know was going to bloodstock last year or the year before... and the line up wasnt exactly great either of those years!!!
