Last night was genuinely amazing. I had a shit weekend, bit of a pants day yesterday, but I still can't get this smile off my face. Madame seagull was probably the sweetest person I've ever met, and she seemed to love last night. And good, she deserved it!

UK Thrash : Good Intentions

Last night was the best night of my life, Anne Seagull is not only a beautiful and increadible woman, but an unearthly powerful performer. She didn't sing us all the hits during the set, but we rectifide that by having her sing them to us at the end of the night by the bar.

The best night i've had in a long time, i was so excited before she went on stage, i nearly felt sick, and then by the end of the gig i was so heart warmed and amazed by the pure Seagull power that i couldn't believe anything. she is amazing! what an amazing night! SEAGULL! SEAGULL! SEAGULL! SEAGULL!!

im glad it went nicely.but hey,we are a lovely bunch and although we joke on here at times,in reality we are decent folk.
its nice that you all supported her and respected/enjoyed her as an artist rather than go there just for amusement purposes.
you must have all made her feel great considering she sang afterwards/by the bar.
im compelled by the responses/thread replies since the set.
im gutted i missed out since my work hours have recently been changed.
maybe next time.im sure there will be another one.maybe we can become her devoted following.

Most of my friends are musicians, in bands, been in bands etc, but i dont think one of them has got as many songbooks with tunes, lyrics etc written as she has. i hear she got loads? Anybody who can write hundreds of songs, and have the balls to get on stage, by herself, no backing band and nothing but a keyboard and still play gets a big thumbs up in my books. Even most of todays decent solo artists have backing bands etc to fall back on

I have just read this thread and it is beautiful. Wellilikefrankkozik.. what you must remember is that as purveyors and people of HEAVY METAL music we know what it is to be marginalised and MOCKED (apart from me as I’m the king of rock and roll) so by nature we are generally a good bunch of moralistic if slightly sexual deranged people..we dance on the thin line of Irony…we party on it. What may appear as ‘taking the piss’ is actually genuine enthusiasm for the different?

I also like Frank Kozik..although I hear he owed/owes plenty of money

I'm seriously fucking gutted I missed this. I was sat next to my PC in a grump but it was going to be £60+ in petrol.

Son of seagull type fella (I think we should all change our names to stuff we like)- yeah, stay on the forum. Your mum will tell you i politely gave her the heads up it was a thrash metal crowd via myspace and she was still totally up for it and genuinely excited so we did the same. Bloody kudos to her from all of us, glad it went well.
