It's Wimbledon now - the next sporting event for my brothers to slob in front of! Then it will be the Olympics I suppose: another thing for them to fein interest in because it is SPOOOORT!

Not that I dislike sport, I just do find it annoying how sport always has to be on TV because you need to be "in the know" about the latest happenings.

No way.

Sure, plenty of female tennis players would get pummelled but it takes so damn long for them to actually score because only the Williams sisters can actually hit a ball. I love it how women say that they'd be willing to play five sets if it meant they got paid the same as men: Wimbledon would have to be extended by at least a week to accommodate for it.

I agree on the Andy Murray call. The sooner Nadal stuffs him, the better. The Tri-Nations starts this Saturday so I'm sorted for sports, for now. I don't think I can be ringed with the Olympics to be honest.

I reject Andy Murray almost exclusively because he is seen to be representing Britain. I can only get worked up about international sporting events if I have a Scottish interest vested in it. I didn't buy into Tim Henman as Britain's 'only hope at Wimbledon' and can't buy into Andy Murray for the same reason:

'Come on Andy!'

I guess I liked Tennis when Sampras was still about but haven't watched a Wimbledon seriously since Ivanisevic won it.
