Reanimator - Saturday 10th Feb - Diamanthian + more!

Postby Bestial Bill on Fri Jan 12, 2007 3:19 pm

Not thrash, but since a fair few of you had a killer time at the last Reanimator I thought I'd post this. This month is more of a death metal attack, but these bands are old school enough to appeal to thrashers too! Be good to see some people from here again!

Reanimator returns 10th Feb with a juggernaut of a gig featuring enough crushing death metal to squash you flat.

First up we have Maniakal Torment, a band who embody everything that makes old school death metal great. No beatdowns or nu-school trendy crap here, just metal as it was meant to be played - slow, sick and heavy. http://www.myspace.com/maniakaltorment

Secondly all the way from London, Anoxia. A savage and violent mix of old school DM and early UK grindcore thats about as friendly as a punch in the balls and will aptly leave you gasping for air. You can hear stuff at http://www.myspace.com/anoxiaweb

Our third band of the night is Deadweight, Stourbridge's own death metal powerhouse. A savage assault of unrelenting brutality, these guys are going to make everyone sit up and take notice in 2007. Be impressed at http://www.myspace.com/deadweightuk

Finally we are proud to bring you the merciless death metal attack of Diamanthian. These guys should need no introduction - they've toured with Vader, Krisiun, Marduk and Behemoth and can be counted amongst the very best of UK death metal bands. If you don't know them, check them out at http://www.myspace.com/diamanthian

Four bands! Four pounds! For fucks sake, don't miss this!

Anoxia are gooooooooood, have never heard those other bands though!!!

Keep Reanimator nights going!!!! It's a great idea, albeit a little out of the way for myself... Might go to one soon though, the next thrash one probably :D

Whenever I see threads like these, my ponties get soaked. Then I realise that Re-Animator haven't reformed (yet... ).

Sounds cool. Only heard of Deadweight off of there though, we're doing a gig with them in a couple of weeks.

These Reanimator nights sounds cool, especially after all I keep reading about things going tits-up in Birmingham. Mind you it's pretty much the same anywhere :(

We can make bolognese available if it's going to entice more people to these gigs!

(who provided that in the first place??)
