I know I'm spamming but just thought I'd ask.
I'm in the process of developing an open-source PHP content management system for editing plain-text files over the web without the use of FTP etc. It's been coded from scratch with PHP, and is currently in the alpha stages of development, the last major revision fixed quite a few security issues.
Overview of the project:
Sonica Content Management System (SCMS) is a web-based plain-text CMS, and is a personal project of freelance web developer Craig Watson while studying Computer Science at Aberystwyth University. It has been developed with the intention of being a test-bed for my PHP coding skills.
The main feature of SCMS is to allow online editing of files without the need for FTP access, therefore allowing the user to edit files from anywhere in the world. Programmed using the PHP back-end language and XHTML and CSS front-end technologies, SCMS can be run on any webserver that supports PHP.
By providing no WYSIWYG interface, SCMS will allow webmasters to edit their files remotely, cleanly and efficiently, with added features to create or delete files from the SCMS File Manager.
Feel free to head over to the website and download the code:
