OUT NOW:

VIOLATED
Only Death Awaits
CD

Hailing from Kristiansund, Norway, Violated play classic thrash metal the Bay Area way. Packing a punch that would make Rocky Balboa proud, this unit will turn necks sore worldwide! 30 minutes of headbanging mania. Only DEATH awaits!

"Violated bring a ferocity and purity to the thrash table that gives it the vibe of something straight from 1986! Solid beats and finger shredding solos that’ll keep your head banging long after the disc stops-a-spinnin’! So pick up a case of PBR and give these guys a listen! " - 9.5/10 - E-MetalSpace

"...crispy thrash metal which expecially fans of hirax or destructor will like...Violated sounds masterful, straightforward and powerful" - Powermetal.de

Slayer - Reign in Blood, Metallica - Master of Puppets, Kreator - Pleasure to Kill, Megadeth - Peace Sells... but Who's Buying, Flotsam and Jestam - Doomsday for the Deceiver, Dark Angel - Darkness Descends, Destruction - Eternal Devastation, Nuclear Assault- Game Over. Some absolute classics and some extremely important albums even if they were not the best ever. 1986 = ripping year.

Have we had a thread ' what was the best year for thrash?' If not, should be done...

Listening to the title track. Definitely not 1986 style and I can't hear much Destruction or Hirax. It sounds comparable to Suicide Watch to me but maybe a bit more modern. In other words a little melodic death in there. Not bad but not amazing.
