I agree. As soon as I find out the venue, I will start plugging the shit out of the venue, get as many people as possible to come!

Plus playing Street Fighter on any other platform is just wrong, we really do have to use a Snes.

Ehh, I'd have to disagree. Whilst the SNES versions are indeed the best, I'm much more used to using a playstation controller for SF games, or 2D fighters in general. I tried playing KoF'95 on my mate's NeoGeo and I couldn't do it, yet I played the same game on my Playstation and I pwned

Ehh, I dunno I think I'm just rambling now. I'm so tired

Re: Streetfighter 2 tournament/details confirmed
ALL SORTED!
OK everybody here we go,after hours on google/and the phone ive managed to get a decent little private venue with 1 plasma t.v.
it is called "the yorkshire grey" located in bloomsbury wc1 area.(nearest tubes;chancery/holborn/kings cross)
it is only 15-25mins away on tube to angel so not too far to see the sabbat gig(8th june)
we can have from 12 till 5pm there.it is not "bring your own for beer though"
there is menus/snacks/drinks(all at main bar)
the easiest thing to do is log on to http://www.citypublife.co.uk - on the home page youl see "search all pubs and bars" click this then click on the 4th green square titled function rooms, choose 10-50people then at bottom right click location then hightlight "wc" and click "get pubs" you will then get full details and pics etc of the yorkshire grey.check it out!
damn i wish i could learn how to paste info as a link on here
and yes my snes cable will reach that t.v.as it lowers and i got like 4 scart cables anyway.
this place was very reasonable priced at £20 so not bad.there were lots who demanded crazy money, minimum spend fees etc.
1 place in camden charged £60 but no t.v. bent!
so i hope i have done well.
anyway as long as there is beer/thrash(they have an audio connection for mp3s) and laughs itl be cool.
plenty of places for more people(max 80)
LET BATTLE COMMENCE!!
p.s.no beer smuggling, and if this goes well then the guy wont mind holding it regularly for us(we can defend/snatch the title!)

Re: Streetfighter 2 tournament
Marvel Vs Capcom 2 would be rather cool. I can bring down a dreamcast if you want me to.
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.
