WWAAAAHHHH!! yeah i didnt really get drunk so this is a sensible review.

DOCTOR DEATH - Wow, im speechless, doctor death were amazing. Guitar tone and playing was fucking spot on, special grats to thrashbey, he fucking ripped the kit. Great vocals with some amazing high pitched squeals. I got a massive bump on the back of my head from the pit for doctor death as i got knocked down really hard. Really an amazing opener and they more than warmed up the crowd.

DAMNAS - really tight as always and amazing stage presence as always, was a fucking joy to watch them. Donny and johnny boy fucking dominated the stage and zykloned and bongwater had great tone and were deity like.

TANKARD - ...........wow, ive not got many of their albums but i think i gotto get em all now. Never a dull moment with these guys, they were like fucking children on stage jumping about and enjoying every single moment. haha there is a certain dance edge to them that was fucking great and their lead singer was the most hilarious of them all showing off his life gathered hump of beer to the mass, truly a legend. Was most hilarious and i think he got off with every single girl in the crowd and chatted them all up.

All in all every single band was amazing, the crowd was amazing and the sound was unusually great in the underworld. Yup gonna sleep like a baby now hahaha!

Jesus fuckin christ!!! Doctor Death... WOW! I always loved the Death and thought the ideas were amazing... but I, like many others knew there was something missing... Being tight and having an all round good sound! And last night just blew me away! Not a foot outta place... everything was so good! Congrats on the new line up... sounding sick! Can't wait to see some more!

Damnas... Fuckin wickla. Standard. That's all I have to say about them.

Tankard... I got drunk, stole rider, cut my finger open and bruised my back and arse. Wick.

All in all a shit hot night.

Oh my god. I'm dead.

Great night!

Doctor Death are a real band now, and they sound fucking SICK. See them now!

I had fun during our set, had a few rubbish technical boys, but other than that it's all good!

Tankard were so much fun! The stage diving was hilarious to watch! Gerre kept slapping every girls arse before caressing them into the pit, ha ha! He is my hero!

Ahh, I fucking loved it. Crippled my knee, got a punch in the nose and lost my phone, but it was completely worth it. So if anyone picked up/stepped on a crappy-ish phone with no battery left, give us a yell. And I think I'm responsible for Zurab's bang on the head, I kind of fell into him a bit. Still, no harm done.

Haha well I don't think every girl got invited to shower with Gerre! (as I did lol)

Well I thought they were brilliant at HOA, but this was about 100 times better.
Gutted that they dropped Space Beer from their set cause Olaf was getting ill with flu or something.
My legs are so bruised.

wicked night,so many familiar faces and great performances from all the bands.
finally, its about time,Damnas/DrDreath got to play the underworld.they deserve it and didnt disappoint.both such tight sets and the foam axes/Fred appearance from DrDeaths set and the Racecourse from the Damnas set were standout moments.
Tankard had some heavy, rocking, riff blasting tunes.i just thought they were a beer band with 'knees up' style songs but man i was wrong.(probably coz i had only ever heard their one song Empty Tankard prior to seeing them :D )

a great night all round.
finally got me a DrDeath t-shirt(at last)

nice one y'all!

Lol I'm not sure what facial expression I had, but I was wasted as they had vodka back stage
He seemed disappointed to find out that plodman was my boyfriend hahah!

I am so tired and feel like death. Stevedot2, Plod etc kept me awake til 6:30am and then we had to get up at half 9.

Crikey! This was the best thing that's ever happened. Thanks indeed.

Everyone will be talking about it and rightly so - Doctor Death were fucking amazing!!! They just completely blew everyone's minds last night, and I actually felt the fear whilst setting up on stage, the fear that we had been upstaged before we even went on! They were like a real amazing band, goodness me. Steve's voice was absolutely glorious, and he was great without a guitar. I hope to bloody god that he stays with the band, he just simply cannot be replaced. They sounded sooo tight and powerful! It was just so great to hear the brilliant songs delivered the way they deserved to be, what a powerful experience indeed. Seriously, Doctor Death are going to take over the world.

We had a most marvellous time on stage - despite a couple of hilarious slip ups, it was hands down the best gig I've ever had with Damnas. What an awesome crowd, and what great times indeed. It felt great playing the new song too, it seemed to go down very well indeed. I don't think there's anyone better you can be in a band with than Donny. It's the most hilarious and brilliant time anyone can ever have!

Tankard were just wonderful. I had quickly gotten very drunk after our set, and Tankard gave me the best time of my life. Christ, what a fun set! I couldn't believe it. The frontman is so hilarious, such wonderful dancing! My ideal frontman, actually. Just brilliant.

Christ almighty, well that's that. For a good old treat, come and see Doctor Death and Damnas again for free at the Purple Turtle on Wednesday! Yippee!
