Maybe it's just a way to get out of reading..

I don't know what it is, but every time I'm at Sheffield Hallam library I feel like I should do a poo there. It's really weird.

So at the start of this thread, martin was talking poo, now everyones at it!!! :?

Back on topic, i want to make these points:
1) BBB are not up to the calibre of many of the current thrash bands in my opinion, but that doesn't make them shit. If someone else likes em, good for them.
2) I have an inkling that had BBB not been signed to earache, martin would not have made quite such a big deal about them. I think there is a little bit of trying to get at dig by slagging his band.
3) Dig was wrong to dismiss heretic out of hand in the past as they are a good band, and i think they are much better than BBB.
4) always poo at work or uni or anywhere except at home, because it saves cash on bog roll, and you dont have to clean the skid marks off the pan!!

That is most of the reason I had such a go at them, but to be honest I'd be annoyed if it was any label, because I can't understand how a band that shit can get a deal - it does sort of add to it that it's Earache though for obvious reasons.

I finally decided to check these boys out on their myspace. I've just listened to Immortal Life, which wasn't terrible, but it wasn't terribly good either. It's just the same riff I've heard in a thousand songs but produced well so it sounds and feels quite nice, but at the end of the day is just another typical by-the-numbers thrash song. I'm listening to The Evil Within and it sounds very similar to the previous track after 2 minutes, I think I'll skip to the next track. Feed The Beast, here we go. Yep, another variation of a riff which contains all the same notes as the previous ones. But this track seems to give off a bit more exciting energy which is quite nice. But basically it's not that good. Although I've only listened to a minute of it. But I can't be bothered to listen to anymore, so here we go for the next one. Oh, it's the TMNT theme song, which should be fun, but somehow they've made it sound boring. Oh well.

Hmmm. Average and boring I'm afraid, and I really don't like the vocals, they really annoy me. I do wonder why an average band like this has got signed and Mutant haven't. They're not as bad as The Omen I suppose.

I just think they're the finest example of Digby Pearson fannying about and signing every band that fits the genre and the cliches. He's done it before with death metal (pretty much ruining it in the process) and now he's doing it again with thrash. Heed my warning - don't let him get his grubby mits on any else of you, you will be dropped and you will fade into obscurity.

Haha, I'm not in charge of who hears our demo. No labels would get it if I was.
