Well, since the old thread got deleted, here's the new tattoos thread... or tat00s :/

You know, ive never notice them before. I shall be getting one soon, but im a bit stuck on what to get at the moment. Possibly something like Mastodons Remission album cover, with the horse.

EITHER

Create an account at http://www.photobucket.com - upload photos and copy and paste the address, putting [img]at%20the%20start%20and[/img] at the end.

OR

There is now a function to upload photos directly to the your forum posts. You will see this beneath the 'Submit' button, as 'Upload Attachment', if you go advanced with posting (rather than using the quick box below)

Got the Metallica logo (traced from Kill 'em All) in black between my shoudler blades.

Don't get a band tattoo especially when you're sixteen.

the M/waste one hurt more when colouring the barrel in and it also stung during the waste gig last august as id only managed to get it done/booked in 4days beforehand.
(TIP:try and get tattoos at lest a fortnight before attending any gigs)

the motorhead one was my first one last jan and yeah it did hurt but was worth doing as im a huge fan of theirs.
(owning 18full albums/various dvds etc)

lemmy rules and is a living legend.

What kind of a pain is it? Is it a growing ache type? Or is it exactly like it looks like it would be - ie - having your skin cut?

I always wondered if it was like the moment of pain that occurs when a doctor injects you, but prolonged for the whole session...

P.S. it's only a matter of time before the River Freshney guys start showing off their tats! :lol:
