DragonForce are fucking great. Seeing them on tour last year was one of the best gigs I have ever been to.

I was really let down by dragonforce live and there new album is a massive disappointment because it sounds like everything else theyve done. Ontae thrash tho i think death angel and kreator are over rated, annihilator i can handle in small doses.

Cannae see where people are comin fae sayin that slayer suck tho.

Worst live band I've ever had to endure, somehow I've seen them 3 times and theyve been utter shit every time, theyre sloppy, tuneless and way up their own arses.

Dark Angel, are trying to be too complex imo. All the songs are too long. Sabbat, I don't know. I jsut don't like the whole thing. I just feels dark and gloomy to me. I like more upbeat stuff.

Dark Angel are extremely catchy and very tuneful. Listen to the chorus from Promise of Agony. Dark Angel had riffs coming out of their ears, each more brilliant than the last and they had a certain look to them that I think people always like. Put it another way, Dark Angel have personality which is something that a lot of Thrash bands lack. For example, three out of five of them were fat cunts and they had a vocalist who is, indirectly, one of the most immitated (via Exhorder, Pantera and today's SHITE) in Metal history.

And it's not like Time Does Not Heal is that unique; Victim's of Deception is very progressive as is a lot of Coroner and Anacrusis stuff. I know Hyder loves Heathen and Anacrusis so I'm thinking he's picking up on the 'brutality' aspect of DFA's music rather than the progressiveness of TDNH. But then, Hyder likes Arch Enemy who are, in certain respects, more brutal than Dark Angel...
