There can't be many bands who have put so much work in, so I am pleased for them. It is also cool that another major label other than Earache is taking some interest! I've found their sound a bit humdrum in the past but I will be sure to check out the upcoming album.

Good for them! I did some pre-production for the new album with Dave, and he is a hard working, determined man indeed. In fact, the whole band are. From what I've heard, their next album should be a good'un, many congratulations to them.

The EP was distributed by Plastic head, who have links with Candlelight.

Good work messiah, make sure you get a fine tooth comb on those contracts.

As an open question, what would be the rough percentage of this forum that still actually buy CD's?

It depends entirely on the artist, i'll usually get a sampler (like a best of if it exists) and if i like it i at least attempt to buy their back cat.
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

Thank the Police coming straight from the underground...

I buy CDs, I haven't downloaded anything for about 3 years. I want to start getting more though, as I'm quite slow to acquire things even if I've wanted them for ages. I have barely 200 at the moment, but there is so much greatness out there. Also it is so much better when you have a finished visual product in front of you.

Cd's have gone really pricey at the mo due to the shitty euro & dollar, I've been collecting (like proper life consuming geeky collecting in the 1000's) since I was 14 but I'm of the last few of my social circle to spend money on the actual product.
We're currently having an internal debate over the pros & cons of a label. I have some pissing horrible label stories but can't pass them on for fear of getting sued, you can imagine though.

I only really buy CD's to support smaller bands now, I'm a bastard.
