Ah Killzone 2 is AMAZING! But suffers form the usual problem of being quite easy all the way through and then stupidly ridiculously hard on the final boss, which is where I've been stuck for a long while now!
Yeah I got so stuck on that spiral staircase bit too, but in the end I gave in and chose the Easy mode option that it gives you when you die a million times in a row. Then I had lots of fun! There's another really cool puzzle/boss thingy after that bit too, it's really bloody great actually. You're not far now Pove, keep going! YOU CAN DO IT!!!11

Aliens Vs Predator is OK. Only played multiplayer so far - but it is pretty cool!

I played the single player completed it already (all 3 characters) very dissapointed.
Trading it in later for credit.
Still heavy Rain comes out this Friday
Re Perfect Dark, there is a Golden Eye remake using the HL2 engine for the PC. Its pretty decent if anyone wants to downlaod it for free and play on Steam. The Guide is here

I knew the Single player wuld fail - got it for the 4 player multiplayer side of things. Getting 4 friends on team deathmatch as all marines or all aliens is really fun and Survival mode is ok. You can't revive team mates for some reason (atleast I don't think you can) Which meant i played on my own against waves of Aliens for 10 minutes, wasnt very difficult - died when i ran out of ammo.
Heavy Rain is going to be incredible. Luckily I have that weekend off of work so I look forward to that. I will be trading AVP in for Battlefield :bad company 2 which is incredible! Really looking forward to that and then of course the mighty Final Fantasy is out on the tuesday.
Need to get all these out of the way before Red Dead Redemption in April

Yeah I was really dissapointed with AvP.
The multiplayer side of things seem good, Survival mode is cool just not much depth in the game really after you clock it you know.

I am tempted by special edition of Heavy Rain from HMV, just because it comes with some kind of chapter of DLC... i work at GAME which gives me 25% but still... i want as much of that game as i can possibly get

I downloaded the Heavy Rain demo, but I haven't had the chance to play it yet! AAAAARARGAH!! I can't buy it though, as I'll be getting FF13 and GOW3 next month, and that'll definitely keep me occupied for a while!!

Heavy Rain is only 10/12 hours long i think - but replay value will be unmatched and on top of that it's apparently an emotional experience like no other... i dunno about that. Metal Gear Solid 4 was pretty fucking intense!

Dragon Age Origins has been awesome. ive played it like 30h. but i have only passed 25% of the game

I finally played the Heavy Rain demo, it was pretty bloody good actually. Amazing atmospheric soundtrack. But slightly annoying controls (but original). One day I'll probably buy it, but not yet. Not yet.
