I'm guessing since most everyone here likes thrash, there must be a few wrestling fans among us. WWE, TNA, ROH and such, perhaps i'm not the only one waiting for RAW to come on right now in fact? Anyway, use this as a place to discuss all the finer aspects of sports entertainment, and John Cena :wall:

I still dip in and out of interest with wrestling, mostly CZW and IWA: MS. and a few other indys. I stopped caring about the WWE a long time ago but my mate still keeps me up to date with it so we can laugh at the pure "shiteness" of it.

I did download the first IGF, Inoki's new promotion, show a couple of week ago and was rather impressed by it. Wrestling/shoot hybrid good stiff stuff. Angle Vs Brock was the main event for the IWGP title.

Check out the cheesey pic of me & Jerry Lynn taken around 5 years ago

I'm not too familiar with IWA or IGF, but CZW is pure brilliance :D

That picture is the coolest and at the same time worst picture ever

INDEED!

I only hold WCW/WWF/E wrestling knowledge from about 1998 to about 2003ish... It was a nice part of my teenagership, but long forgotten.

I kind of miss it.

:boohoo:

The best wrestling game ever made was WWF No Mercy on N64. Am I right?

IWA Mid South is a promotion created by Ian Rotten and it's been going for about 10 years, started out was pretty much garbage slugfest/hardcore stuff but got a lot more technical and stiff guys on it now but still a load of insane hardcore stuff. They have an annual Death match tournament which is usually quite decent and had a tag team death match tourament last year which was fucking brillaint. Also had an all womens death match tourament aswell. CM Punk pretty much got started and known at IWA-MS. He had some fucking long but brillaint matches with Chris Hero there, 60 or so minute TLC match and a 90 minute 2/3 falls.

IGF is a new promotion started by Antonio Inoki after he left NJPW, which if the first show they had is anything to go by is very promising.

And yes it is a beast isn't it

Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

NAHHHHHHHH!

Seriously, No Mercy had IT ALL. Blood, weapons, ladders, chairs, an endless create a character mode with tonnes of really stupid taunts - and a hilarious story mode. No contest.

I fucking loved wrestling from Wrestlemania XVI through until the WWF bought out WCW.

I was sort of into wrestling in the mid-90s as well. Bret Hart is my favourite person ever.

Me and Alex in the band are Pro Wrestler's, we do the stuff where we know who is gonna win but beat the shit out of eachother, onyl ended up in casualty once or twice! :D

And for all of you, WCW Revenge on N64 is the best Wrestling Game EVER with Royal Rumble 94 on Mega Drive in a close second.

The Undertaker vs. Mankind Hell In a Cell match was really something out of the ordinary.
