we turn up, having driven 2 cars from norwich to london.
When we get there there there is nothing sorted or set out. the cabs are no where to be seen, the drum kit is packed up on the stage etc.

we start sorting shit out to soundcheck and the guy asks us to pay him £5 for hire of the kit... Basically pay to play a shite drum kit that we had to set up ourselves... The guy had no intention of paying us, no intention of sorting out anything and had obviously done fuck all in the way of actually promoting the show. The bands didn't even know what the hell was going on never mind other people.

All the guy cared about was filming shit, which looked like he had organised a troop of chimps to hold handy-cams.
"hey guys great set, we will definitely be looking to get you down again"
"good fucking luck mate"

Cheers to the sound guy! Top bloke, helped us out a lot. venue is also very cool, would love to play on a busy night but jeez that promoter needs blowing up! kaplode him!
