Esleth-Anyeen Lai-alith*
* traditional oath-song of deep gratitude of the Bowmen of the Blue Eclipse - ageless nocturnal forest wardens sworn to tread the unspoken, autumnal pathways of Yalenth whenever the unshrouded full moon holds midnight court above.
In the timeless woodlands of the Beyond Hills, each syllable may take hours to meander from the Bowmens' elven lips in dream-like undulations, as they sing the velvet Yalenthian words in melancholy, lyre-backed chorus, content with their silent audience of regal, sentinel oaks of unwhisperable age.
