I assume Enter was joking, I don't see anything that suggests Slayer aren't headlining.

Maybe the promoters did it knowing that all the Slayer fans would abuse Trivium immensley if they were on first, and now will leave before they come on. I mean, obviously Triuvium are rubbish, but constantly shoving bands like them and Bullet for my Bailentine on before bands like Maiden is a deathwish, and slightly inhumane? Surely it destroys them as human beings?

I remember the Funeral For a Friend guitarist getting a cup full of piss thrown all over his lovely PRS guitar at Maiden... it did pull the heart strings....... a bit.

Surely seeing Slayer first is a good thing as you can leave before Trivium come on and get transport away from the venue more easily? Fair enough, they may suffer from a slightly shortened set but Slayer could play two albums worth in 60 minutes.

Yeah I do agree, it is a good thing in most respects.

Mastodon are on it. Mastodon are ace, i get to meet the band at the Manchester gig. They are good friends with Slayer so im wondering if ill bump into them. Looking forward to it.
And Slayer are on before them because not everyone stays until the last part of their gigs because of trains/lifts home n shit. So Kerry said he prefers to be second to last because all of their fans will be able to catch the whole show then.
Same things happened to me aswell. Played a gig that was packed during the other bands but it was running late, and because of this there was a lot less people.
So its worth Slayer playing that slot.

Never got into Mastadon. Saw them at the Underworld, they didn't blow me away. People built them up too much, and they didn't live up to the expectations at all.
It's a sad state of affairs when bands have to consider their slot allocations because these 'music fans' who can't be bothered to stay late and see them. ESPECIALLY in London, where transport is 24 hours.

Um, hold on a second... I thought there was some sarcasm humour happening here. Doesn't it say Slayer + Special Guests Trivium? Are you all being silly?
