I think Heretic sound metal-core, and I'm not a fan.

Annihilist on the other hand sound awesome! I don't believe that thrash needs to move forwrads, the further forwards you move, the more it becomes not thrash. Yeah sure music and metal in general should move forwards, but thrash is what it is and that's why I love it, if it changes it's not thrash. Anyway this band is tight and I think they have a good future ahead of them. Personally I'd love to go see them live.

Oh yeah and at the end of the day, I'm pretty sure no one has questioned your musical skill, so you're clearly not bad. People just don't like good thrash these days. hehehehhe

I'd still say we're trying to find our feet properly. We're not claiming we're being original and we're not claiming that we won't be writing a totally different type of thrash in a years time. At the moment we're just writing songs that we can perform live and still feel like they aren't getting old, if they progress to something further from that then so be it, but I doubt it'll happen consciously.
