Anyone else read him? Just finished The Commonwealth Saga, some 2000+ pages over two books and now I'm on the Night's Dawn Trilogy which is over 3000 pages. Brilliant stuff, Epic Sci-fi with a capital EP.

I think my dad's read quite a few of his books. I'd like to read more SF, but I'm such a slow reader.

I am too, I can do a few pages and then I find my mind... wandering... It'll take a couple of months to read each book. Worth the time investment though, Alastair Reynolds if also particularly good.
