They're from DM bands originally and this is their new venture. My bro went to Coachella (where reformed RATM rocked about) and sad they were great. Their Stairway rendition is awesome.

Paco De Lucia is pretty much the king of it.
As for Rodrigo y Gabriela, i love it, there stuff isn't Flamenco guitar but it's really catchy, interesting and tech.
For anyone interested in learning true Flamenco good luck, there is more required in the rythm side alone than the entire metal spectrum.
Also there are styles of Flamenco that you will never hear let alone learn to play as they are family styles and only played to family members and exceptionally close friends at gatherings, really interesting musical culture though.
