its not about money or longer sets,its how the public perceives your band.If they see you going on before some shite band then they assume that the shite band is bigger/better ect.

Indeed. I'm with Bobby Flynn on this one. I hate Machine Head, but I hate Limp Bizkit so much more. I think it's fair enough, no matter what the organisers tried to offer them as compensation, they promised MH the 3rd slot and then after they were confirmed put Limp Bizkit in it instead. I would be so utterly pissed off at that.

Id always do something like that to Machine Head to downsize their ego.

As far as im concerned, they're similar bands. Very similar. Machine Head just trend hop, they're playing metalcore now as its all big n popular. They always see to play whats in and "cool". So along with having no respect for them, as it is because they have the dullest music ever and nob head egos, they're just shit band waggon jumpers.

Haha, that song brings back some fond memories of a youth gone by. But yeah I know, I agree, that's why I hate them (although their first album was really good and their second one was quite good), but at least they wrote Davidian and Old, for that they are much better than Limp Bizkit, who are the worst thing ever (although very hilarious).

I will say though that apparently Robb Flynn is a very nice man in real life, according to Sir Matt of Evile, they did some shows (or a show, can't remember) with MH a while ago, and Matt told me that Robb was a lovely man indeed. I don't think he has a 'nob head ego', I think maybe he's just a nice but silly idiot man who just doesn't really know how to write amazing music. Faraz is right, GET BACK IN VIO-LENCE, RAAAAAAAGH!

I say that based on the times ive seen them live and everything he says on stage makes me go "Nooo....." and the Roadrunner United DVD thing hes just such a cold man with hardly any emotions but he likes to say how good he is.
