I'm sat here looking through my DVDs and contemplating what to put on - I'm in the mood for a really good music DVD, leaning towards documentary style as opposed to just live footage. However, almost everything I have is just a 20 minute live show, or some footage of the band dicking about in a studio for a bit.
So, my fellow UK Thrashers, do you have any recommendations for some totally rad music DVDs? Either standalone ones, or that come with the bands CD?

Metal: A Headbangers Journey was pretty good. I'm yet to see the sequel (Besides a few clips at Wacken) which deals with metal as a worldwide phenomena.
The Gwar movies are usually good for a laugh as well. Phallus In Wonderland being the obvious choice.

Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

I watched some of Miika's copy of Flight 666 recently, and it's a really good DVD! Not just the money-spinner I expected it to be, but a really nicely done package and a good mix of gig footage and behind the scenes action. I early like The Early Days DVD too, loads of brilliant interviews - but I haven't watched the Live After Death one.
If you want a really in-depth documentary, check out the Sodom DVD - I think it's called The Years of Depravity or something - there are HOURS of interviews and old gig clips. Most if not all of the interviews are in German, but there are subtitles throughout.

When I was flying to America, I watched the Anvil Documentry was great.
Heavy Metal : A Headbanger Journey is cool to, what is the sequel called? I've had the Thrash Documentry for about a year and its still in the shrink wrap!

I saw Metalbrew Stu yesterday and he still has my Vio-lence's Blood and Dirt DVD. That's a blast of a comp.

Dont call him Metalbrew Stu, he doesn't deserve that title.
That Vio-lence DVD is amazing, i'm watching through a couple of great Hard'n'Heavy comps at the moment. so hilarious how they mistake/pass off the odd dodgy hair/glam band as a "Thrash" band haha!

Queen - Live at Wembley Stadium is the best live music DVD I've ever seen. That and the Led Zeppelin one ('DVD', not The Song Remains The Same).
Also, Judas Priest - Electric Eye is brilliant an hilarious. It's got all their promo videos, which is just brilliant for a start, and there's a whole concert from the Turbo era with some amazing songs on it such as The Sentinel, and some other old videos of them playing live on the Old Grey Whistle Test and other things, there's a video of them playing Dreamer Deceiver/Deceiver live, and you can't even believe it.
