Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

Good man, Sheffield fucking rules, I love it here. No chavs!

I've actually seen very few chavs in Sheffield on my visits there. Bizarre.

Very much so. Which only makes it all the better. If only more of them had some decent taste in music, there's far too much bloody indie here.

Apparantley Sheffield is a "heavy metal" city. And Leeds is full of "goths"!
Toss research, seriously.

You know what, Leeds had/has a bloody good music scene. Chunky Butt Funky is the best band since sliced bread.

Sliced Bread were brilliant, but I felt that they never had the opportunities they deserved. They supported alot of big bands, but they didn't headline as many shows as I'd have liked to have seen.
It's quite sad because since most of the band were eaten back in 94, and the surviving members all got a severe case of mould, nobody will ever be able to replace them.
Hail Sliced Bread.

I have their cult 7" 'Bakery Butchery', as well as their 'Wholemeal Attack' split with the legendary Bacon Butties.

A good selection of metal, although personally I always quite liked their crust stuff too. A bit of a minority view, I know. Anyone tried the cover compilation "Toast to the Gods"? Been wondering about that for a while.
As for the Wholemeal Attack split, it was good, but personally I preferred the Bacon brothers before they formed Bacon Butties. Their early work with Tommy Ketchup is more to my tastes.

They really pushed the boundaries of the toast metal genre, i mean singing about scones in one of their songs.... wow unexpected.
