Right, so we've had these ideas for t-shirts for well over a year, and hopefully we should be nearing the time that we can actually sort these plans out and make them a thrash reality.

What we're after is ideas about slogans/designs that we can use on the shirt itself. The Union Jack idea from the previous thread was pretty popular, so maybe we can work that in somewhere. We will be (hopefully - depending on cost) doing a 50/50 split on black and white shirts, so we need the design to be as adaptable as possible.

Deadline for suggestions is early June, so we've got a couple of weeks to process them and get a design drawn up, then hopefully get the shirts done in time for the first couple of weeks in July. Pricing will probably be about £6-7 but could be lower depending on costs.

So .... go!

I suggest you just get Paul (Deceptor drawing master ape/robot hybrid master ninja) to do us a lovely design, perhaps a mechanical Thatcher dueling a super retro nintendo style hero (see megaman and various other classics) emblazoned with some sort of union jack motif and blasting said mechanical monster with it's patented URL-Buster-Cuntpuncher Cannon De-luxe.

on the backprint make a collage of all or most uk trash bands logo both the singed and local ones that would look badass

I still maintain you need to have the following slogan on the back:

"Thrashin' was my business, but thanks to the recession I now sell cakes!"

That last suggestion has to happen - if it doesn't, I'll kick you in the knees. Or just make them myself.

Tbh it might be worth getting two batches done with different "slogans" or designs, or maybe do the white shirt with a different design/slogan?

I've talked to James and he's going to ask Paul to do some concept art for the shirt, so I'll update when we have news! Dave, could you give it a plug on the next podcast?

I humbly suggest you stick to my concept, for a design of thatch-bot i suggest a combination of Starscream and a T-rex.
