Anyone seen it yet? Jesus christ.

Saw it the other day, it really is an excellent movie.

I thought it had one of the best 'bad guys' I've seen in ages, really convincing and tension filled the whole way through. It even had a good ending for flips sake.

yeah it was awesome. the opening scenes were breath taking, and it had (as usual for Cohen brother's films) such perfectionism in its construction. superb and brutal.

I need to see this stupid ass movie. I love the brothers!

Absolutely loved this movie. Anton was an absolute nutter of a bad guy. Loved the opening scenes with the desert etc & the build up & suspense was so well done too. The ending kinda threw me a bit, cos i read before going to see it there was a twist at the end but i'm not too sure if i'm missing the point or if it's just shocking that he got away? anyone wanna enlighten me?

i think the twist was the main guy didn't survive which you might not expect

also the bad guy had the same hair as bangover circa 2004

I know it's a bold statement, being so early into the new year but I really can't see this film being topped by anything else for the rest of the year.
Perfection.

Anton Chigurh is undobutedly one of the most intimidating characters I've ever seen and during some scenes (Moss waiting for the door to open, Chigurh in Carson Wells' room and the coin toss) I don't think I actually breathed. The tension built up in those scenes was just unbelievable.

The Coens for Best Director, Javier Bardem for Best Supporting Actor, and the film for Best Movie at the Oscars please.

I'm reading Cormac McCarthy's book at the moment and I must say the Coens have done a fantastic job adapting it. A few little scenes taken out of order (which is always going to happen in any adaptation anyway) but for the most part, the film is a perfect duplicate of the book.
