On Friday the 30th of October SEREGON will be releasing their new 7 Track EP ‘DISPOSABLE SUFFERING’, this will coincide with an EP Release party the same day at Yate Community Centre in Yate near Bristol, UK. A charity raffle was already set to take place but due to the tragic events of 05/10/09 all proceeds made from the raffle and door sales will go to the family of late EVILE Bassist Mike Alexander.

• Signed copy of Metal Hammer (June 2007) by the members of MEGADETH & Promotional Beer Mat (Donated from personal collection of SEREGON’s James Moore).

• A set of MEGADETH Plectrums from the 2007 World Tour & Promotional Beer Mat (Donated from personal collection of SEREGON’s James Moore).

• Plus many more item’s on the night!

When asked by the UK’s TERRORIZER Magazine how he felt and why SEREGON have taken so many opportunities to help Mike’s family, SEREGON’S James Moore said:

“The main reason as to why we are doing everything we can is simple, the UK Thrash scene is a big family and families need to stick together and look after one another. After playing with Evile a few times, Mike instantly made you feel like you had been friends for years and I can find comfort in knowing the last time we spent time together was having a blast at Bloodstock with friends all around. Mike and Evile raised the bar for unsigned Thrash bands like us as well as hold the door open and help many of us through, for that we are truly grateful. We will miss you Mike, Love and Bruises. James.”

A huge thank you also goes to Marita at Punishment 18 Records and Kathy Waters for helping us make the contact with several of the bands. Raffle tickets will be available on the night and entry to the show will cost £5.00, for more details please go to http://www.myspace.com/seregonuk

New CD will be out on 30/10/09 and you can grab it here at the show first, i'm sure if we ahve it a week before at MEtal on MEtal we will be pushing it out as well! But pelase, come down, celebrate with us and party with friends.

The raffle will have lots of signed goodies from all the bands, Testament and Megadeth.

All proceed's from the Charity Raffle at our EP Release show will go to Mike Alexanders Daughter, please come to the show, dig deep and celebrate a true gentleman of the UK Thrash scene with us. RIP Mike, thankyou for the awesome times.

Just so say, i'm not trying to jump on any band wagon. I just had a nice thought and it's been picked up by the metal presses, the last thing I want people to think is that i/we are trying to cash in on this horrible, horrible situation. I, like everyone just wanted to do something and it seems that a little has gone a long way.

Fuck em man, of course some press will label is at that - at end of the day, news journalism works on spinning already posted stuff.

You dont need to explain yourselves, we all know from UK Thrash, you got up this morning and thought "fuck it lets do this for Mike" so dont explain yourselves.

I do have some actual questions for you however: Hows the new CD sounding?

what can we expect?

Aye I know we are all part of the good ship UK Thrash but there will always be people thinking the worse unfortunatley. Either way, it's a small gesture that has built up steam and i'm happy that i'm able to do my bit.

CD Wise we will have a new track up online in the next 2 weeks to wet the whistle. I never really know how to answer these questions as to what it sounds like as it's more of a case of writing what we think sounds cool, makes us bang our head and that's about it lol But nooo, I guess it's very much if Testament, Sepultura and Vader had an orgy we'd the 'Accident' that spawned 9 months later.

The charity raffle is really taking shape, have the following bands on board donating things (Thankyou Marita):

And Sam Scott Hunter (Photographer who did the Evile promo shot's in June/July is donating some prints to the raffle as well.

I personally will also be doubling the figure made in the Charity Raffle also as well.

I'm also donating signed items from MEGADETH and TESTAMENT that I have personally gathered through my travels over the years, whether working with the bands or Meet and Greets.

I've enjoyed them, now it's time for others to enjoy them as well as help a worthy cause.
