Kemakil - new EP on the way in the new year

Postby Heavy Metal Bastard on Sun Dec 19, 2010 7:52 pm

After almost a year of procrastination/waiting on artwork, KEMAKIL will be releasing The Blood Removal Machines EP early in the new year. I know that everyone will find that very exciting!

Anyway, we will hopefully be doing a few gigs away from the farm in the new year so there should be a few chances for people to buy the CD. If there's anyone who REALLY cant wait, be sure to drop us a line on myspace or send me an email (details below) and we'll sort something out. There is currently plans afoot to make the tracks available on download for anyone that way inclined... :eyes:

But there's more!!

To go with the new EP, we've also got a new 7 track DIY demo entitled "Tales From the Container of Doom" which you can get free with the EP. That's seven tracks, including two brand new ones, all recorded from the comfort of the KEMAKIL container. That gives you 11 Kemakil songs altogether, you lucky bunch.

Anyway, that is all for now. We'll see you in the new year when hopefully someone will buy this fucking CD!!

Oh yeah, and give us a show, ya bastards! We're looking for gigs wherever we can get em to promote the new CD and just generally go on a bit of a jolly, so please feel free to hook us up!

Ta

Took your time mate! You decided on which cover you're going with yet?

The artwork is complete, its all ready to go! We're bringing back the classic Exodus theme of having the band on the album cover. When did bands stop doing that??

For anyone who wants to check it out, both the new EP and our demo are now up for streaming and download on our bandcamp page....

www.kemakil.bandcamp.com

Once the EP is printed, you'll be able to get the proper copy, but if anyone can't wait, you can download the EP and artwork for a *small* fee. Tales From The Container Of Doom is available for free download. Let us know whatcha think! Any feedback is appreciated. Plans are afoot to record a new EP this year (on a bigger budget if we can shift enough of this one!) with hopefully an autumn 2011 release, so watch this space!

Anyone else using Bandcamp? Looks like it could be the new Myspace with enough nurturing and support....
