whose bothering to vote in the election? at first i couldnt be bothered, i saw it as a waste of a vote but i think now im goin lib dem,not only are they not gonna waste my money on nuclear fucking weapons, they say this in the manifesto,,

"Cut red tape for putting on live music. We will reintroduce the
rule allowing two performers of unamplified music in any licensed
premises without the need for an entertainment licence, allow licensed
venues for up to 200 people to host live music without the need for
an entertainment licence, and remove the requirement for schools
and hospitals to apply for a licence."

now we can gig anywhere!!!!

Even if I could vote (not old enough) I wouldn't bother, unless it was to stop the Torys or nazi scum getting in somewhere. As it is I live in a solid Labour majority area, and all the parties are shit, so unless something changes radically in the next year I doubt I'll be exercising my right to give some ambitious wanker a pay rise.

I'm with Pat the Mechanic on this one. Although I'll be on tour, so I don't know how I'll vote. Is there such a way?

I always vote.... have done since I was able to.

I've always voted Lib Dem because:

- they won't renew trident (but don't rule out buying tactical nukes)
- reduce the school curriculum to a manageable size
- tax rich people more
- replace the shit first past the post system we have
- give more money to local government and increase our power to punish local government councillors
- tax pollution
- no id cards
- smaller CCTV network money used for more police
- no motorway CCTV tracking network (the police track ALL car movement on motorways)
- more European integration but tied to reform of the European parliament to make it democratic.

this election reason to vote libdem:
- split the banks up into retail and casino
- remove unelected upper chamber lords and more importantly the 10 bishops
- tell the two main parties that blocked reform and introduced the Digital Economy bill to get lost

I like what the Lib Dems are about, but I'm more than likely going to vote Labour this time around because I'm genuinely worried that the Tories will win.

Tactical voting is the way to go, anything but Tory. I don't care how shit new Labour has been, Conervatives are never a good thing. The fact you have to vote for a party you don't support to get the one you do want in power is a pretty convincing argument for getting rid of first past the post.

All the good stuff about the Lib Dems I accept, but they've also got some mental free market supporters in there who want to slash budgets on everything. I talked to the local Lib Dem candidate about Clegg's 'savage cuts' and he mumbled some stuff about reducing the military budget without touching anything else, which doesn't seem likely however anti-war and anti-nuke they are.

I can't believe the Lib Dems have got an actual chance, that really hasn't sunk in yet.

But yeah, if I sort my proxy vote out in time, Clegg.

As Mustaine says "If you don't vote, you're automatically voting for the winner!". Which sounds kinda cool that you win but he doesn't mean it that way :(

Anyway Lib Dem for me I guess, or maybe I just wont vote so I win?

i often wondered what would happen if i asked all the Patel's in my workplace to vote bnp, would the bnp actually accept and count their votes towards the tallyor would they rather disapprove the votes from my muslim/hindu colleagues?
not that i support any party.
bnp/ukip:racist thugs in suits hating a huge percentage of the public.
all the rest of the partys:weasel, snake, corrupt crooks, full of empty promises and constantly scamming the majority the public.

I work with a black BNP supporter.
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

Thank the Police coming straight from the underground...
