BAD NEWS ABOUT HELLFEST
All flight lines out of the uk have been canceled to nates. Basically Easyjet did a trial run to nates which ended in november and they are currently assessing whether its worth it for them to open the line again in the summer. Ryan air have apparently canceled their flights from bournemouth and possibly london to nates as they are also assessing whether they think its worth it... both companies are in money troubles atm
This does make me now wonder how the fuck i am going to be able to get their as the coach is like £170. Any ideas?

I checked Nante's airport timetable and it has a flight registered from Stanstead, if it has been canceled when i get my next uni loan in April ill get the train.

Nantes is a major city so is very well served train-wise. Eurostar to Paris and then the TGV service to Nantes from there, should be a shuttle service to Clisson. I tried to look it up on the Eurostar site but the dates aren't made available yet.

Ok, searching on Ryanair they do flights from London Stansted to La Rochelle which is about 50 miles South of Nantes. Flying out on Wednesday 17th and coming back on Monday 22nd is £67.47 return but thats WITHOUT checked baggage. They got no flights available on the Thursday and flying on the Friday costs £60 just for the outbound leg.
There'll definitely be a TGV train service from La Rochelle to Nantes.

Bonded by Blood are on the list of bands on Wikipedia, I messaged them on Myspace but got no response, so not sure what to make of that! I would love to see them again, I've been listening to the album recently and it's fucking killer! Although the vocals are a bit annoying and the drums sound over produced, the riffs are heavy and brutal and thrashy and fucking awesome!!!! I hope they play!!!

I am a bit bummed about missing out on my usual German festival atmosphere, so to remedy this I'm also going along to 'Legacy Fest' [if you search Legacy FestIVAL it comes up with some dodgy festival in Serbia that Testament happen to be playing :S]
2 Euros a pint, not too far from Berlin, Wintersun, Arsis, Kreator, Scar Symmetry, oooh yes!
