I haven't been on their myspace,but by all accounts they are a power metal band from Canada.Now,cards on the table here,I know quite a bit about thrash metal,but I'm no real expert.HOWEVER,I know A LOT about power metal,and I reckon few people,if any on this forum know as much as me,it's always been my fave metal genre,check out my myspace.Anyway,I've got albums by bands most of you will never have heard of,from all over the world.

So,how does a band from the other side of the world,that a power metal expert(sorry) has never heard of,get on a European tour with Megadeth?

Fantastic Melodic Power/Thrash Metal debut, this Killer Canadian Metal band has out done themselves, this is destined to be at the top of everyones. Canada’s Warmachine makes aggressive, melodic metal in the vein of Eighties arena rockers. That may have something to do with the influence of producer Murray Daigle, who fronts the impressive Dokken-eseque Canadian band Emerald Rain. (Daigle also contributes vocals on Empty.) Yes, they are “destined to be at the top of everyones”, they covered Megadeth song, they played with David Ellefson and they play in the vein of “such giants as MEGADETH” and “Eighties arena rockers”, so theoretically there can’t be a better support for Megadeth than them.

But only theoretically, because in practise they sound more like power than thrash (Edguy was a good connection), yes they are catchy and I like them, but I’d prefer the thrash band on their place much better...
