I do like the clean riff, though. So much so that I may learn it.

Re: The Official New Metallica Album Thread
Nope, unfortunately I'm back to my original opinion. I've got to say, it wasn't quite as bad as I expected - I quite like the first two tracks, are there are some decent bits throughout the album, but to be honest there isn't a single song that makes me think, 'wow, this is good!' Some of the tracks start off quite boring and get good towards the end, but that's about as much as I can say about it. The last bit of the first track is probably my favourite part of the album. But I'm already bored of the whole thing, and there's no way I would buy it. It's kind of the like they tried to make a modern version of And Justice For All - they've got poor versions of One (The Day That never Comes), To Live Is To Die (Suicide & Redemption, which is thoroughly boring) and Dyers Eve (My Apocalypse), and then just loads of long boring songs. And The Unforgiven III is really shit! That and Cyanide are the worst tracks I think, the first two are pretty good, and everything else is boring. It could've been worse, but it could have been so, so much better!

I've just listned to the first 5 songs and I think it is thoroughly delicious. Who'da thunk it?

I think it is going to be fucking mint. Only bug bear from the audio on the video is that large oilrigs drums are way too high in the mix. It is almost like he wants everyone to hear how "stock" ,as he likes to say, his drumming is.

I can't even be bothered to download it.
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

Same, i listened through some of the tracks online and it didn't do anything for me, at least i enjoyed the new Megadeth album for a little bit and listened through it a few times when it came out...right back to listening to some Budgie

Re: The Official New Metallica Album Thread
I have heard Unforgiven 3, judas kiss and the officially released songs.
Judas Kiss is dam awesome, the chorus lyrics are sweet, but im not a fan of the rest of it. Cyanide is ok, but the middle goes really weird...sounds crappy in the middle, but then gets back to the coolness of the start...dunno its werid

The guitar tone and solos are really shit but the actual riffs themselves are quite pleasant.
