Great guitar parts shop

Postby Magnificent S Pendergast on Fri Mar 20, 2009 5:19 pm

Many of us guitarists have historically had a problem finding replacements for those little bits that wear out periodically, especially in the olden days when you used to have to get the train in to Manchester to visit A1 music (R.I.P) and they had to order whatever it was you needed.

But! As with everything else these days its all there on the internet, but I would personally like to recommend this shop:

http://www.axesrus.com/

The site doesn't look amazing, but they stock just about everything, it's cheap and cheerful and the stuff arrives very promptly. Also, free delivery to the UK!

yeah, easy peasy mate, just needs a trem cavity routed out of the body so there's enough room for the spring claw and springs at the back, and enough space for trem movement!!!

what guitar is it?

and what kind of bridge does it have at the moment?

welllll..... if you have a look there are some bridges that give you the ability to dive bomb and stuff that just replce the standard fixed bridge... not sure what they're called/where they are or how good they are, but maybe that's something to consider?

I don't think getting the body routed would be that pricey really.... but then you still gotta buy the new bridge etc
