i remember when i was a wee lad i had a best of and i enjoyed 2 songs, i thought the rest was crap

i bought the limp bizkit album when i was like 11 and it has the parental advisory label, i thought i was well ard

Same, i've had a massive skate punk revival as of late.

Yeah, I used to love The Offspring! Haven't listened to them in years, since the Conspiracy of One days. I remember seeing them live at Wembley Arena on that tour, it was something like the second gig I ever went to. It was amazing, I remember them playing Pay The Man from Americana and it was the best thing ever. I do miss listening to Ixnay and Smash, I might see if I find them or download them somewhere for a bit of a nostalgic laugh.

I never liked Limp Bizcunt, maybe one song or something, but I always thought they were shit.

Offspring were fantastic. They suck balls now though mind.

The first CD I ever got was Shania Twain.

Next was Limp Bikskit, then Slipknot, for ages no one could compare to Slipknot, then one fateful night at my mate's house, in the early hours of the morn, upon the TV screen on MTV2 appeared GWAR, and my life was changed forever.

And I also got into Thrash.

first cd/boxset i got was judas priest from hmv vouchers i got at christmas, i never stopped watching the live concert

Some of Limp Bizkit riffs sound kinda cool and groovy... ummm lyrics were kind of terrible... Leave you with a fat lip...

I think the first CD i bought with my own money was Life Is Killing Me by Type O Negative (after seeing i don't wanna be me video), Permission To Land by the Darkness or even St.Anger as it was around summer 2003.

But i was bought the Significant Other album when that came out as i liked the Re-Arranged video

Though back then it was all about watching Head Bangers Ball and MTV 2 with all the crazy ass channel indents!!!!

I never had sky/cable... still don't.... and I didn't get the internet until 2003/4... I missed out on lots of stuff, had no faith in music mags (half a load of bollocks!) and most of the music on the radio was shit.. no good

oh well, things have changed and I've made up for the years of being in the dark about the wonders of music
